Vacation Apartment Rentals in Bergen
Bergen is an incredibly popular travel destination, especially in the summer months. With its picturesque location by the sea and its proximity to the mountains, it is easy to see why. However, one question that often comes up for those considering a visit is whether to stay in an apartment or a hotel. There are pros and cons to both, of course, but here are a few reasons why we think apartments are the better option in Bergen.
One of the biggest advantages of apartments is that they offer a sense of space and privacy that hotels cannot. If you are travelling as a family or in a group, this can be a huge plus. Apartments generally offer a kitchenette as well, so you can save money on food by cooking some of your own meals. Another advantage is that many apartments are located in historic buildings or in charming, quiet neighbourhoods, away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. This can be a great way to experience the city like a local and get a taste of real Norwegian life.
Of course, there are a few drawbacks to apartments as well. They can be a bit more expensive than hotels, and you may need to do your own laundry. But in our opinion, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and we think apartments are the best way to enjoy your time in Bergen.
